Aporte de los barranquilleros por Valorización 2012 va en $218.200 millones

Un aporte de 218.200 millones de pesos han hecho los barranquilleros a las obras distritales que están mejorando la calidad de vida en Barranquilla mediante el programa de Valorización 2012, desde el 9 de julio de 2012 hasta el 31 de marzo de 2015.

 Este aporte se hace visible en obras como la ampliación de la carrera 51B, la restauración del edificio Intendencia Fluvial y la construcción de la Plaza Grande del Río de la Magdalena, la recuperación del entorno del Coliseo Cubierto y Monumento a la Bandera, la rehabilitación de la carrera 54 y solución del arroyo La María, la reconstrucción vial y conducción del arroyo de la calle 84, y la canalización de arroyo y ampliación de la calle 79, entre otras.

Así lo informó el gerente de la Oficina de Gestión de Ingresos del Distrito, Fidel Castaño Duque, quien calificó estos recaudos como “muy positivos dentro de las proyecciones que habíamos trazado cuando se hizo el derrame” y destacó “el buen comportamiento de la ciudadanía con este programa”.

El funcionario dio a conocer que el recaudo de Valorización 2012 ya supera el 60% del recaudo total de este programa que está proyectado para que culmine al final del 2016.

El Distrito, con el fin de ofrecer beneficios tributarios, desde el segundo semestre del año 2012 otorgó descuentos del 15% y 10% para aquellos ciudadanos que hicieran los pagos de forma oportuna y a partir del año 2013 se iniciaron los pagos por cuotas.

Muchos contribuyentes se acogieron a los descuentos o en este momento están haciendo el pago por cuotas; sin embargo, para aquellos que no hecho efectivos sus aportes tributarios de Valorización 2012 y 2005 o que en algún momento suspendieron la modalidad de pago por cuotas ya se inició el cobro coactivo de su deuda.

“Ya se iniciaron procesos coactivos para lograr la recuperación de ese dinero, sin embargo las personas que en este momento tienen esas deudas tributarias morosas pueden acogerse al beneficio establecido por la ley 1739 del 2014 adoptada en el Distrito por el decreto 148 de 2015 en el cual se otorga un descuento de intereses correspondiente al 80% si pagan la totalidad de la deuda”, señaló Castaño.

Así mismo, el gerente de la Oficina de Gestión de Ingresos del Distrito anunció que en próximos días se enviará a los contribuyentes un recibo en donde se les aplica el 80% de descuento de los intereses por mora en la Valorización 2012 o 2005. De igual forma, dicho descuento en intereses aplica para el impuesto predial de las vigencias gravables 2012 y anteriores.

El buen comportamiento en el cumplimiento de las obligaciones tributarias, no solo en Valorización sino en impuesto predial, se debe a la confianza que la Administración Distrital ha generado en la ciudadanía, expresó Castaño. “Los barranquilleros pueden darse cuenta de las obras que se están haciendo, las que ya se terminaron, las que se están ejecutando en este momento, esto es una muestra positiva de que con los recursos que aporta la misma ciudad con sus tributos hay un mejor desarrollo, más y mejores vías, salud y educación de calidad, y muchas más inversiones para el bienestar en general”, sostuvo.

Durante el 2014 el Distrito logró ingresos tributarios por 665.000 millones de pesos, los cuales se han invertido en mejoramiento de infraestructura, entre ellas la educativa, de salud, de vías y canalización de arroyos, lo mismo que atención oportuna a las comunidades más vulnerables de la ciudad, dignificando la calidad de vida de los barranquilleros.
