Buenos días, es una mañana alegre donde la protagonista es su majestad la cumbia, aquí en su Agenda Bitácora de la Memoria Cultural, todo porque es viernes y el corazón me lo dice de contento.

Estamos a tan solo 1 día, de vivir una nueva y  maravillosa experiencia con el Festival Nacional de la Cumbia José Barros Palomino en su 36 versión.  Toda Colombia bailará cumbia desde sus hogares, que esta pandemia no sea excusa para dejar de salvaguardar nuestras tradiciones, y menos un baile  tan ancestral y virtuoso como lo es ‘Su majestad la Cumbia’ .

Del 1 al 4 de agosto 2020 se transmitirá en la página del Festival Nacional de la Cumbia José Barros Palomino todos los por menores de este magno festival y también por la plataforma  del  Facebook live. Hoy, nuestra invitada a la Agenda Bitácora de la Memoria Cultural es Veruschka Alexandra Barros Manzano; quien  dirige  cada año, el Festival de la Cumbia que este año,  llega a su 36 versión en El Banco, Magdalena. Veruschka Barros, albacea del legado musical y del Festival de la Cumbia del Banco, Magdalena.

Evento que creó su padre, José Barros Palomino. Beruska, estudiosa de su obra y depositaria de una cantidad de historias y anécdotas, algunas inverosímiles, que en noches y amaneceres su padre le contaba desde niña, está con nosotros, en nuestro Territorio Virtual. Esta entrevista y todo el material fueron emitidos por la emisora Radio Tropical 1040 AM, producido por el equipo periodístico de la Fundación Marsolaire.
