Buenos días,  en esta mañana decembrina, hoy viernes en la Agenda Bitácora de la Memoria Cultural estamos alegres, contentos, agradecidos. Hoy finalizamos el año de labor en la Agenda.

Agradecidos por todo un año de labor  en el que hemos contado con el apoyo que nos ha dado el Creador, los invitados que  día a día  han estado  dispuestos a compartir su trabajo, a los oyentes, los seguidores que se conectan en nuestros  territorios virtuales  de esta, su agenda cultural. Todo un año, que con todas las dificultades de este año complicado,  estuvimos aquí.

Hoy nos despedimos  la Agenda  con un invitado muy  especial  que representa lo autóctono  de nuestro folclor en medio de las nuevas propuestas urbanas, ellos son Gaiteros  de Pueblo Santo,  agrupación que fue nominada recientemente a los Grammy Latino, ellos han buscado preservar la música tradicional y su narrativa con el sabor único de la costa caribe colombiana en estos tiempos de sonidos urbanos y electrónicos, una ardua tarea que cumplen. Grabar en nuestras mentes los sonidos que han mantenido viva la historia y presentarlo como una pieza única es una de las misiones de esta agrupación de gaitas tradicionales de Barranquilla (Colombia). Con esa intensión, Los Gaiteros de Pueblo Santo, presentaron su álbum discográfico “Historias Cantadas”.

Argemiro Campo Ortiz, uno de sus integrantes, un licenciado  en música, docente, compositor, maraquero, percusionista, gaitero macho, está con nosotros  para hablarnos de esta estupenda agrupación orgullo del caribe colombiano.
