0 Buenos días, el ritmo caribe refresca y llena la mañana de este viernes con nuestro invitado Edwin David villero Escalante (Cantante y Compositor Barranquillero) conocido artísticamente como Edwin Relax , Barranquillero vivió una gran parte de su infancia en el Barrio Las Flores.
Comenzó a cantar cuando tenía aproximadamente 9 años, inicia su vida artística cantando en colegios donde había cursado algunos grados durante la primaria, cantando música vallenata influenciado por su padre ya que este componía música de ese género, con el pasar del tiempo Edwin encontró su propia inclinación musical hasta incursionar en el género de champeta como su principal género musical.

Edwin Relax ha vivido toda su adolescencia en soledad 2000 donde el apoyo de su gente lo ayudó a comenzar su carrera musical cuando tenía 15 años gracias a su amigo y cantante Carlos Montero conocido en el mundo artístico como (waywa Rasta) ha compuesto más de quince canciones y grabado canciones con algunos estudios profesionales de baja categoría como los son: Sound production Musical, RM Music y Granada Company. Entre su repertorio se encuentran canciones como: Tengo que decirle con granada Company, incursionando en la champeta en el año 2016 incursiona con el pico de los Poderosos Dipslays (La Costa Sur de Soledad 2000) con el cover de la canción versión champeta de (andas en mi cabeza) regresa al estudio de Granada Company para grabar y realiza versión acústica de champeta del cover de la canción (Mi otra Mitad) , después graba Falsa
Ilusión por dos productores de Granada Company por Jean el especialista y Dayan de Producer, también con ellos grabo junto al cantante el Poeta la canción titulada Todo se Acabó en el año 2018 grabado para el pico JD de soledad. Uno de los proyectos más importantes en mi carrera fue haber realizado una colaboración con el cantante Gi Black artista de pico El imperio de Cartagena del Flaco Iriarte con su DJ más representativo de la champeta Jader Tremendo, en el tema titulado El Ascensor que fue grabado para el picó El Pantera Discplay de Carlitos Ron producido por mono master y Harold Montes en el año 2018. En el año 2019 graba uno de sus mejores éxitos y un tema muy reconocido en barranquilla titulado La Galleta grabada para el pico el Favorito Discplay con DJ Profeta y el estudio de doble A producciones tema que está en YouTube con varias reproducciones y el cual me ha dado reconocimiento.
Este año estoy con Maikol el Insoportable y su productor DJ Demoledor hice la canción titulada La envidia para el pico El Súper Kike y dada a conocer por Maikol el Insoportable con la frase (sino lo mata el Covid lo mata la envidia) sonando en la emisora la Romana y en todas las presentaciones del pico el Súper Kike. Actualmente me encuentro preparando algunos temas con los cuales quiero obtener más reconocimiento en el mundo de la champeta urbana. Esta entrevista y todo el material fueron emitidos por la emisora Radio Tropical 1040 AM, producido por el equipo periodístico de la Fundación Marsolaire.
