Enseguida, a las 9 a.m., la escritora Melba Escobar, actual referente de la literatura colombiana, reflexiona con el escritor Carlos Polo sobre sus procesos creativos. Y a las 11:00 a.m. la exitosa sumiller Laura Hernández, quien explora e innova con bebidas ancestrales, conversa con la periodista Teresita Goyeneche. Programación de la tarde. A las 2:45 p.m. es la proyección de video-clip de RTVC titulado Érase una voz: Alejo Durán. Capítulo con el inmortal juglar de la música de acordeón. Allí mismo en La Cueva, a las 3:00 p.m., la charla titulada Hablemos de Gabo. El historiador español Álvaro Santana, autor del libro Ascenso a la gloria, explora el camino que la novela Cien años de soledad recorrió para convertirse en un clásico de la literatura universal.
Charla con el director de la Fundación Gabo, Jaime Abello Banfi. Esta charla será bimodal, es decir, presencial en La Cueva y transmitida desde allí vía streaming por el canal de YouTube de la Fundación La Cueva. Programación de la noche. En La Calle de La Cueva, a las 6:30 p.m., Yo, Meira, a nadie doy mi soledad. Un monólogo a ‘dos Meiras’ que evoca a la poeta barranquillera. Los boleros de Gabo, en la que el poeta y melómano Miguel Iriarte comenta con expertos y cantantes de aquí y de allá, unidos en este homenaje a Gabriel García Márquez en forma de serenata, con la colección de diez boleros favoritos del Premio Nobel colombiano. Acompaña Son de La Cueva. Las entradas a todas las sesiones del Carnaval Internacional de las Artes son libres, para acceder más fácil a cada uno de los eventos, los asistentes deben mantener vivo el espíritu carnavalero y disfrazarse.
