Estas actividades se pueden disfrutar a través de las redes sociales de la Secretaría de Cultura y Patrimonio del Distrito.
El telón virtual se abrió a los barranquilleros y amantes del arte, para que puedan disfrutar de una muestra digital de teatro a través de las redes sociales de la Secretaría de Cultura y Patrimonio de Barranquilla, en el marco de la celebración del Día Mundial del Teatro, fecha que se conmemora anualmente, cada 27 de marzo. Esta celebración en las «tablas digitales» irá del sábado 27 al 30 de marzo. “Hemos aprovechado esta fecha para darle circulación, a través de las plataformas digitales, a los proyectos ganadores de las convocatorias ‘El Escenario es tu Casa’ y Portafolio de Estímulos Germán Vargas Cantillo, del año 2020, seguros de que ofrecemos una agenda cargada de calidad y muchos talentos a los barranquilleros, para así conmemorar, desde nuestras casas, el Día Mundial del Teatro”, expresó la secretaria de Cultura y Patrimonio, María Teresa Fernández Iglesias, quien aprovechó para invitar a conectarse a la programación y así descubrir planes para vivir desde casa y evitar los espacios con aglomeraciones.
En la agenda se transmitirán 7 obras de teatro a través de la página de Facebook: Secretaría Cultura y Patrimonio de Barranquilla. En el marco de esta programación la Secretaría también hará un reconocimiento a cinco directores de la escena teatral barranquillera, exaltando su trayectoria y aporte a las artes de la ciudad. Los reconocimientos se entregarán a: Sergio Sarmiento Támara, director de Proscenio Teatro, dramaturgo, director del programa de Actuación de la EDA y pionero en el teatro de improvisación en la ciudad. Andrés Daniel Robayo Carrillo, uno de los jóvenes talentos del sector teatral en la ciudad con mayor proyección, es dramaturgo y docente en el Colegio San José de Barranquilla. Henry de Jesús González Guerra, director de teatro, docente y director de la sala de teatro ‘La Estación de los Sueños’, que se destaca por sus valiosos aportes a la formación de público para el teatro en las comunidades. Mario Zapata Yance, director del grupo de teatro Actores, dramaturgo, que con su larga trayectoria ha contribuido al desarrollo sectorial en la ciudad. Albie Birmann, gestor cultural, director teatral y docente de artes escénicas, director de Mandragorart Compañía de Creación Artística, es un innovador, que construye sus obras desde la experimentación artística en el ámbito escénico.
Asimismo, se rendirá un homenaje póstumo al maestro Luis Guillermo Henao, quien fue maestro de Arte Dramático en la Universidad del Atlántico, en la Escuela Distrital de Arte y Tradiciones Populares- EDA-, y quien participó de su fundación; además director de Arroz’conmango, del teatro La Sala y gestor cultural.
