Buenos días. Viernes  de gozo y alegria con nuestra música y composiciones de nuestra tradición caribe aquí en su Agenda Bitácora de la Memoria Cultural con el invitado Carlos Alfonso  Guillot Monsalvo, un Músico, compositor, poeta, pintor y escritor de Ciénaga, Magdalena. 

Profesor de música por más de 30 años y es el director de la Corporación Artística y cultural CIENAGARTE, entidad que se dedica a la formación musical de niños y jóvenes. En el 2013 le fue entregado el «Caimán de Oro», máximo galardón otorgado por la alcaldía municipal de Ciénaga (La Dulce Salitrosa) a los personajes destacados en la cultura regional, nacional, o en cualquier otra actividad dirigida a la comunidad.

Entrevista a Carlos Alfonso Guillot Monsalvo

Autor del libro escrito en Décima Espinela, allí recopila versos, enmarcados en la décima espinela y en la cuarteta, para conformar una obra capaz de recrear los albores del folclor de Ciénaga Magdalena, teniendo como figura central «El Caimán Cienaguero”. Con la poesía narrativa, busca estimular el interés por la lectura en niños y jóvenes, haciéndolos conocedores del folclor de su región, sirviendo como soporte literario y difusor de la memoria colectiva de su municipio.

Durante  la cuarentena realizó  el trabajo musical, «Buitrago nos lo dice», en homenaje al «Jilguero de la Sierra Nevada» el cienaguero  Guillermo Buitrago. Este proyecto forma parte del homenaje a Guillermo Buitrago en el centenario de su natalicio, junto a un libro que lleva por título: «Versos y Versiones».
